Dear Mr. Strong: -
We are making a poll of the newly elected members of Congress on the question of the Federal Suffrage Amendment, in the event that this measure should fail of passage before March 4th. Will you kindly give us for press purposes, a statement of your position on this question and how you will vote on the Amendment. We would appreciate an early reply in order that we may publish your name with those of the 434 other members, from most of whom we have already heard. Believe me,
Yours very truly,
Maud Younger
Chairman Lobby Committee
