Title
Pinback button : Forward / Denver. [Circa 1905-1915]
Description
Pinback with colorful illustration of a herald holding a trumpet in one hand and, in the other, a banner with the word "Forward." Along the bottom is the name "Denver." While this image reflects many suffrage themes, it was actually featured in the 1905 prospectus for the Forward Mining Development Co. By then, suffrage was already a fact in Colorado, the first state to enact women's suffrage by popular referendum, in November 1893.
