Rheta Childe Dorr was an author, journalist, newspaper editor, and suffragist. She worked for the New York Evening Post, wrote articles for the Broadway Magazine, and was the first editor of the National Woman's Party publication, The Suffragist. She also wrote the book , What Eight Million Women Want.
Broadway Magazine was an illustrated magazine covering New York theater and culture. It began in 1898 and in 1907, it was renamed 'New Broadway Magazine', which then became 'Hampton's Broadway Magazine' in 1908 and 'Hampton's Magazine' in 1909.
