Foster, in response to repeated requests from Mr. Ballard for Susan B. Anthony to speak in his town, offers to send her there in February 1881 at a reduced rate.
The attached leaflet presents the various topics on which Anthony will speak, and contains press reviews of her lectures.
The pamphlet and letter are covered on all sides with handwritten notes.

Flora MacDonald Dennison served as President of the Candian Woman Suffrage Association and spent two years on a lecture tour for the New York State Woman Suffrage Association. Additional speakers at the meeting were Liberty Loan Speaker, Rev. Dr. J. Ellenwood, and the presiding officer, Mayor E.J. Foley, of Watervliet, New York.
The flier encourages people to vote for the woman suffrage amendment.

Tennessee Claflin, sister to Victoria Woodhull, was one of the first women to open a Wall Street brokerage firm.
