The National Junior Suffrage Corps was created in 1914 by Caroline Ruutz-Rees, the principal of a girls&#039; school in Greenwich, Connecticut, to interest young women in the cause. Ruutz-Rees was also the third Vice President of the American Woman Suffrage Association. The group&#039;s motto was &quot;Youth Today, Tomorrow Power.&quot; <br />
