Postcard : Rosalie Jones and the suffrage pilgrims. 1913

Photographic postcard of the group of suffrage hikers who took part in the pilgrimage from New York City to Washington, D.C. which joined the March 3, 1913 parade held in Washington, D.C. the day before President Woodrow Wilson's inauguration. They were led by New York suffragist, Rosalie Jones, who they named "General Jones."

In the photograph, the women are holding a banner: "Ye votes for women pilgrimage from New York City to Washington D.C. 1913"
