Photographic postcard of the suffrage parade held in Washington, D.C. the day before President Woodrow Wilson's inauguration.

On the verso, the card is addressed to Miss Mollie Owen Salsbury, North Carolina, with a postmark from July 14, 1913. The message reads:
Hello Aunt Mollie how are you this warm Sunday evening. Talking to Mr. W. I bet. Wish I could be there for I am awful lonesome when I am at [?] an back in N.C. again. I have not been home since I left you home but I am going home the 26, hope I will get to see you all then. Tell [Chan?] for me write me as soon as you get this for I will be more than glad to here from you. We will be here until Saturday your friend [illegible] Laurel Hill N.C.
