Dear Friend: -- Women are fast taking their places in the industrial and professional world, at which fact I greatly rejoice. Are you not acquainted with some such women in your vicinity? Can you not explain to them that fifty years ago a few of us began fighting the battle, which as made it possible for them to stand where they now do? Will you not ask them to show their gratitude by contributing at least one dollar for our Association? With these dollars we can push the work still further till all women inside the home, as well as outside, shall be free to do as their consciences dictate, rather than as custom demands.
