Flora Drummond was one of the original members of the WSPU and in 1906, became a paid organizer. She was imprisoned 9 times. Nickamed the 'General' by her fellow suffragettes, Drummond was a horsewoman and led WSPU processions dressed in a peaked cap and epaulettes. (Museum of London)]]>

The second, "A suffragette, who had chained herself to the railing, being removed by the police" shows an unidentified woman held by two police officers being pulled down the street.]]>
